- The historic artisans town of Chiusa is impressive for its medieval architecture: the slim city houses at the waterside promenade of the Isarco river, the middle-class houses constructed into the rock, crenellated facades, wide bays and oriels and historic inn signs.
- Well worth seeing is the Loreto treasure in the civic Museum and the impressive Sabiona Abbey on the "holy hill". The hike to the Abbey starts directly from the old town and leads up to the hill on the Sabiona Promenade in about 40 minutes.
