ONLY IN GERMAN AND ITALIAN! Guided hikes along the irrigation canals, through farmsteads and high Alpine routes; breath-taking views! This Thursday: The bus takes us to Oberbozen. From here we start the hike, which takes us via Kematen to the Tann and to the old farmer's bath "Bad Süß". We then continue to the earth pyramids and to Klobenstein, where the bus picks us up again in the afternoon.

Since 1989, the four gentlemen of the blues from North and South Tyrol have been celebrating their elegant blues in an unchanged line-up and without interruption. This makes the cross-border formation with cabaret artist Markus Linder (keyboards), Gianni Ghirardini (guitar), Werner "Haifisch" Heidegger (bass) and Roland Egger (drums and vocals) one of the oldest active blues bands in the European region of South Tyrol-Tyrol-Trentino. STEINEGG LIVE IN BLUES - The Steinegg-Live cultural association is offering a slightly different kind of concert for the 14th time in April 2024. The idea is that of a "shared experience". In this case, instead of the band playing on stage and the audience sitting "downstairs" as usual, everything takes place on stage. The audience sits next to the musicians and thus experiences the feeling and the sound much more intensively and authentically. In this case, of course, it is blues - in all its facets. It's spring, nature is awakening and "Lana blossoms" once again from 1 to 30 April 2024. Blossoms and wild herbs once again play a special role in the spring events in Lana and the surrounding area and offer countless opportunities to get to know them better: spring highlights, creative workshops, themed lectures, wild herb hikes and much more are on offer. The Farmers' Mile of Delights in the centre of Lana awaits visitors on Saturday, 6 April with more than 50 South Tyrolean farm stands. The Apple Blossom Golf Tournament on Saturday, 13 April invites you to kick off the golf season with a tee-off and spring menu right on the green. The traditional Blossom Farm Festival on Sunday, 21 April is dedicated to the historic farms and farmsteads, which give the public an insight into farm life and treat them to farmhouse delicacies.

Walther von der Vogelweide, the most important of the German-speaking minnesingers, has left a deep mark not only on literature, but also on Lajen. Thus would Walther von der Vogelweide have probably received us, bidding us “willekomen” to his home of Lajen, which he left in the late 12th century in order to conquer the entire German-speaking world with his songs and poems. Walther was the star minnesinger, the one who knew how to entertain the ladies and gentlemen at court – up to and including numerous crowned heads. As a consummate professional, he knew exactly what his audience wanted to hear, whether it was poems about noble ladies and (not so noble) girls, or works with a more solid content: crown, church, crusades.

"LANA IN BLOOM" – in pots and on plates. That spring is tentatively preparing to make its debut, is noticeable from the first bulbs appearing on the new branches of trees and shrubs, or well-tended pot plants in private gardens, and a wide range of herbs growing in the wild. Nature’s reawakening also fires the creative imagination of the restaurant chefs in and around Lana. Between 1 – 30 April 2023, during the "Lana in Bloom" gourmet weeks, there are abundant reinterpretations of traditional delicacies using seasonal wild herbs and fresh local ingredients. Lana’s annual food festival is supplemented with local D.O.C. certified wines, fastidious attention to detail — and an overall ‘feel-good’ atmosphere.

One of the city's most traditional events with a side programme suitable for families, guests and fellow citizens. Bolzano in Fiore Arte will culminate with the traditional Flower Market (30th April - 1st May).
