The hushed tributary valleys of the Isarco Valley enjoy an excellent reputation among cross-country skiers. Cross-country trails in the Isarco Valley
Between Colle Isarco/Gossensaß and Laion/Lajen alone there are 20
trails, the highest of which extends to Würzjoch Pass at an elevation of 2,000 meters, with an altitude difference of 300 meters. From the circuits in Pfitschtal, the Silbertal in Colle Isarco, and the Platschjoch Panorama Trail in Racines to the circuits at Pfunders or Lüsner–Rodenecker Alm, all of the trails run through lovely countrysides, are sure to have snow, and are guaranteed to be well maintained. The
mountain huts and alpine farms along the cross-country trails keep skiers well fed and warm.
