Place: Fane Pastures
Every two years up on the Fane pastures (1736 m) in Vals/Valles near Rio di Pusteria/Mühlbach, everything revolves around the white, liquid gold of South Tyrol’s wholesome cows. This ancient Alpine village, with its superb mountain backdrop, serves as the figurehead for the milk and dairy products of South Tyrol. At this mountain festival, where a lot of fun, entertainment and information is on hand, milk is shown to be a typical and authentic product from South Tyrol and it provides an enjoyable and eventful family weekend and two exciting days of hiking.
