Ski holidays for Explorers in Valle Isarco

Guaranteed snow, well prepared ski runs and charming huts with sunny terraces make Valle Isarco perfect for a ski holiday. Here lovers of winter will discover a new ski run or hut every day. There are five ski areas that run from Ladurns in the north, suitable for families, to Plose, the mountain which is home to the town of Bressanone, as well as the longest descent in South Tyrol (9 km). Between the two areas is a descent into the Racines-Giovo woods, the longest toboggan run on Monte Cavallo or the new Gitschberg-Jochtal resort with 44km of trails.

With the Dolomiti Superski lift pass, visitors can take advantage of the world’s biggest ski carousel, where the Plan de Corones, Val Gardena and Alta Badia can be reached in around 50 minutes by car from Valle Isarco.

Cross country skiers love the silent valleys of Valle Isarco. In the natural park at the foot of the Dolomites, the beautiful white landscape meets the sporting challenge of cross country skiing.

The longest toboggan run in South Tyrol is 10 km long with a breathtaking series of curves. It winds from the Monte Cavallo ski resort, at an altitude of 2000 m from the valley floor. Day or night, the starting point can be reached by foot or by cable car.
