Hiking is a particularly good way to experience all the charm the Valle Isarco Valley has to offer. The reward for setting out early on a hike, whether alone or with a guide, is a spectacular sunrise and a truly unique panoramic view of the mountains.
The vast network of trails running through the Valle Isarco (Eisacktal) Valley is just made for hiking: there are easy routes and relaxing tours, a wide variety of paths ranging from a nice stroll to a serious hike, and more challenging options such as summit climbs. A very special way to experience the Valle Isarco is to do one of the sunrise hikes: it’s guaranteed to be an absolutely unforgettable experience.

Sunrise on the Köpfl observation deck
The Köpfl observation deck also offers the sunrise hiker impressive panoramic views of the three-thousand-metre-plus peaks of the Stubai and Zillertal Alps, spanning as far as the Dolomites. Take the gondola up to the summit station at an elevation of 1,860 metres then continue on foot to Köpfl, at 2,189 metres in altitude. A hearty breakfast awaits you on the return journey, before you head back down into the valley.
